The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of New South Wales, Australia, will host the 6th session of the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) Forum on 14 November 2011 in Perth, Western Australia. The meeting will be organized in connection with Australian Public Sector Anti-Corruption Conference (APSACC) 2011 to be held on 15-17 November 2011.

In September last year, the Honourable Jerrold Cripps QC, former Commissioner of the ICAC, proposed to host the next ACA Forum in November 2010. However, the Commission requested the Secretariat to postpone the meeting until next year so that they can make it more productive and useful.

During the 6th ACA Forum, ACA members will discuss the adoption of the Terms of Reference and future collective actions while sharing information on their recent anti-corruption activities.

The APSACC (www.apsacc.com.au) is a joint initiative of Australia's three major anti-corruption agencies: the Corruption and Crime Commission (WA), the Crime and Misconduct Commission (QLD), and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (NSW).

The conference is aimed at providing public officials and other corruption prevention practitioners with an opportunity to explore the latest trends, strategies and future directions in preventing corruption, share experiences and learn from individual and collective successes and challenges.
